Grey and beige limestone, with thin to medium grain and non-uniform background. This limestone is mostly characterized by the presence of strong signs of fossils with darker colour, sparsely distributed. This is a direct variation of the Jura Beige and Jura Grey limestones, presenting a mix of both colours.
The Jura Cocktail is a commercial / more affordable variation of the Jura limestone, combining both grey and beige colours in a not-so-uniform way. There are considerable quantities of this variation available for extraction and selection is not as strict as with other types of Jura limestone.
Compression strength: 21,08 Psi; Bending strength: 1560 Psi; Abrasion index: 30,6; Water absorption: 0,96%
The Jura Cocktail is basically part of both Jura Beige and Jura Grey extraction layers, being used on similar applications as other Jura limestones. Due to its less strict selection and more affordable price, this limestone is a great choice for larger projects such as shopping centre for example.
It can also be found on exterior cladding applications, diverse flooring and wall coverings uses, and much more.
